The Soulaf

Soulaf in all  words means soulafroblues. This music as a whole cannot been seen as my own musical creation at all.

Soul music, afro beat as well as blues have existed before I was born. Africans slaves are the creators of these differents sounds. During slavery and colonisation, africans were singing to overcome pressure of hard working or when fighting enemies they were using afro beats to motivate themselves. They used blues at the moment of sorrow and joy; and then soon  they add on it more value of love expressions.

However, the technical musical links that connect the three main styles is my own imagination. My wish is to muddle up the three main styles into one.

This is what I can call soulaf basis.

Nevertheless,Soulaf is not only the mix of soul music, afro beat and rythm' n blues swing. It goes beyond that by mixing Africans languages with that of  the rest of the world.

 A simple definition of Soulaf is : 

"a groove of soul,african beat and rythmn'blues where african culture invite the world wide musical differences into African music".

This project has as main objective to enter the musical industry either by its art or by commerce.

 I took more than fourteen years woking on technics that might make this music become attractive. Four years ago I started my own album called "THE SOLD LAND".

Today, I would like you to understand what I mean by Soulaf by listing to my music.

It doesn't mean that I have met the needed level I would like to reach, but I m on my road to the top up.
